The Saturn 5 rocket, at Rocket Park is no longer free to visit FYI

Just got turned away from visiting Rocket Park. I was told by security in 2019 they stopped allowing the general public from visiting. You must either pay for the tour at space center houston, or have an employee badge.

This kind of sucks because it was nice to be able to show friends in town the rocket without having to turn it into a tourist trap type of experience. I have friends at Nasa who can get me in but that defeats the purpose. Plus the rocket is technically on loan from the smithsonian, which their museums are free…
