Taking DPS driving test

Does anyone have knowledge of how the DPS are handling driving tests currently? I can find nothing online. Are the DPS taking any precautions? Sitting three feet away from someone in a sealed vehicle for a time who spends all day in vehicles with others is not something that sounds awesome.
