Australian looking for a gun shooting experience

Gday everyone! I live in Australia, my best mate has very recently moved from here to Houston and it’s his 40th birthday coming up. I’d like to arrange a Texan gun shooting experience as a present!

My friend has shot pistols at a little indoor firing range before but I’m wondering if there is anything a bit more grand or Texan – outdoors, bigger guns etc?

Appreciate any ideas or suggestions!
