Is it just me or have murder news stories been quiet after the election?

I find it a bit suspicious that leading into the months to the elections, there were all these storylines about this and that murder and the revolving repetitive stories along the lines of “vote these liberals out”.

Now, I always found them silly because while every murder is one too many, a single murder story has little reflection of the overall murder rate of an area no matter how high or low the rate is. You’d think the general public would be smart enough to realize this.

But regardless of that, where have all the stories went? There’s still the occasional murder that will happen in the city this size. Politics politics politics
