Very sad to cancel, but looking to see if anyone is looking for a beautiful venue near Lake Conroe Texas on February 25, 2023

Hello all! Unfortunately due to some unforeseen circumstances we have been forced to cancel our upcoming wedding.

We have paid in full $5,950 for the Pine Hall at the Springs Event Venue near Lake Conroe in Montgomery Texas on the afternoon/evening of Saturday, February 25, 2023.

We are hoping to find someone who might be interested in taking over our contract for a discount. The venue is amazing and I am so sad that we will not be having our wedding here. Check it out here: Lake Conroe – Springs Venue

We also have a room block booked at Margaritaville on Lake Conroe for $249/night for 10 rooms on February 24 and 10 on February 25.

If anyone is interested please message me. We would like to help someone plan their dream wedding on a budget and also really hope to recoup some of the money spent that cannot be refunded to us.

EDIT: Alternatively, I would have no problem setting up a discussion with the venue where we present them with an opportunity to replace our reservation with someone new. They have said they will not do this, but legally they have to avoid damages and cannot simply keep our money if someone else is willing to use the venue on the same date.
