What should English people do/not do in Houston?

Two Englishman coming on their holidays to Houston for like 4 days in Feb. Never been there, frankly a bit of a cultural difference to London.

What are the dos/do nots? Quite enjoy a beer and steak so any recommendations for nightlife and restaraunts would be great!

Basically if you had never been to Texas what do in Houston area?
