Ongoing – Galaxy Lights @ Space Center Houston @ 6PM This winter explore the most interactive and technologically advanced light display in Texas.

Saturday & Sunday – "A Couple" Screening @ MFAH Frederick Wiseman's last masterpiece, "A Couple" is a portrait of love and marriage inspired by the letters of writer and artist Countess Sophia Behrs(1844–1919).

Ongoing – Alberto Giacometti Exhibition @ MFAH An ensemble of 60 masterpieces highlight legendary sculptor's Alberto Giacometti’s most important creative achievements. Tickets include general admission.

Ongoing – Golden Worlds Exhibition @ MFAH Showcasing the diversity and brilliance of ancient Colombian cultures, through figurative ceramics, ceremonial and ritual items, feather works, textiles, metal works, and historical documents, Golden Worlds invites visitors into a cultural dialogue that spans both space and time.

Ongoing – Walter De Maria: Boxes for Meaningless Work Exhibition @ Menil Highlighting De Maria’s varied and innovative approaches to media and scale, the exhibition includes a large group of conceptual drawings and photography, sculpture related to the development of the artist’s innovative land art projects of the 1970s, as well as examples of his sound and film work.

Happy Hour Thursday @ MFAH @ 5PM Meet your friends at the MFAH for the best night of the week. Explore the campus, visit the galleries, and get a drink at the bar. General admission is free.

Edgar Degas Lecture @ MFAH @ 6:30PM The lecture explores Degas' famous "Woman Ironing," a painting that perfectly depicts women, work, and the Avant-Garde in 19th-century Paris.

Men I Trust @ House of Blues @ 7:30PM

FRIDAY – DECEMBER 2

Playdate @ MFAH @ 11AM This 45-minute program invites children 4 and younger, with their adult caregivers, to join a Museum educator for a multi-sensory experience in the galleries.

"Choose Me" Screening @ MFAH @ 7PM The characters in this Alan Rudolph’s classic, multilayered romantic comedy interact within a film noir of deception, love, and sex among the night people of Los Angeles.

Mistletoe Square @ Market Square Park @ 6PM Starting Dec 2, every Friday this season from 6-9pm, enjoy live music and watch live artists create artwork that showcases winter holidays around the world. This week's holiday: Hanukkah.
