Please appreciate Jose Abreu(from a Sox fan)

Astros fans,

I come in peace. Jose Abreu is my 3rd favorite White Sox player ever behind only Frank Thomas and Mark Buehrle.

The man is everything you could ask for in a player/teammate.

He rarely takes a day off. He just gets hits/ gets on base. He hustles out every play. He’s loved in the locker room. He’s an RBI machine.

He does take a little time to get going. So don’t be dejected if he gets off to a slow start in April/Early May.

He does make some errors at first, but the man can pick a ball out of the dirt.

It’s worth it, just look at his August numbers every year.

I have always viewed him as the most underrated player in baseball despite his 2020 MVP. I rarely see his name mentioned with the “elite players” but his numbers are elite. His effort is elite. He is an elite person.

Please take care of him and appreciate him. I will miss him dearly. Get him a ring.
