Low income/no insurance mental health resources

I don’t have a diagnosis or anything but I’m 21 with low income, my family has never been able to afford for me to seek mental health services. I’ve been having mental health issues since I was 8 years old and I have an extensive family history, but I think it’s time to finally reach out to someone as I’m not improving. If anything, I’ve worsened since my dad passed at the end of August. I see many previous posts asking for resources often already have a prescription or diagnosis, so I’m not sure where to start. I’m not necessarily looking for a prescription, but I’d like to look into therapy services and potential diagnosis to understand more of what’s going on with me. I live near NRG/Astrodome, so I’m in Harris County. TIA!
