The old Hermann Park train tunnel
So during a discussion about theme park trauma today, a co-worker of mine shocked me by bringing up the dancing monkeys that used to be behind the glass window of a tunnel during the Hermann Park Train Ride. This would have been from the design/layout of the 2000's, not the modern one with the painted tunnel. We are both in our mid 20's and experienced this as kids.
I tried digging up old footage on YouTube but the two videos I found showed a dimly lit area with some stuffed monkeys but the footage wasn't very good.
I remember a brightly lit little room behind glass with multiple rainbow colored stuffed monkeys with long limbs bouncing on a wire or something. I remember it freaked me out so much I never wanted to ride the train again. I've asked people before about it but my conversation today was the only one where I wasn't alone in remembering.
I figured I'd ask here if anyone remembers or has photos/videos of it, since it seems to be defunct now.
