Blackpink Houston live concert will take place on Game 2 of the World Series in Houston!

Hello Houston sub-redditors, this is Allen Nguyen here in Houston, TX telling you the news. Blackpink will visit Houston for a live concert for Born Pink World Tour at the Toyota Center this Saturday, which will take place on Game 2 of the World Series at the Minute Maid Park in Houston between the Houston Astros and the Philadelphia Phillies. I think the Houston Astros or Major League Baseball should have scheduled Game 2 of the World Series at an earlier time in the afternoon before Blackpink will start performing at 8:00 PM across stadiums in downtown Houston; thinking that some Astros and/or Blackpink fans attending the ball game may have to leave early (regardless if the ball game between the Astros and the Phillies is in progress or not) to walk or drive to the Toyota Center stadium across downtown to see those Blackpink girls perform a live concert. Because the Astros made it to the World Series again for the second year in a row and have home-field advantage (since the NL West division winner Los Angeles Dodgers with the best season record of 111–51 were eliminated in this postseason by the San Diego Padres in the NLDS), this will be a good time for Blackpink to come to Houston after performing in Dallas at the American Airlines Center stadium early this week on Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn't want some sort of time conflict between the Astros fans and Blackpink fans aka 'Blinks' in Houston if Game 2 is set to begin at 7:03 and Blackpink is set to kick off their live performance at 8:00. When Blackpink arrive in Houston before kicking off the World Series this Friday evening, will they get the honor to throw the first ceremonial pitch in Game 1 and/or 2 before the ball game begin and before they go to the Toyota Center to start performing some of their most popular songs (Ddu-du Ddu-du, Kill This Love, "Solo" by Jennie, Ice Cream, Lovesick Girls, "Lalisa" by Lisa, Pink Venom, Shut Down, etc.)? I also hope that the ball game in the World Series at the Minute Maid Park for Games 1 and 2 may play some of Blackpink's songs that have gone viral on YouTube and the internet. Also, will the Astros get the opportunity to visit the Toyota Center to attend the live concert of Blackpink after the Astros finished Game 2, just before heading off to Philadelphia on the next day for Games 3, 4, and 5, if necessary? I also have a halloween concert "Hauntcert" to perform with the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra in Pearland one hour before the ball game for Game 2 of the World Series starts and two hours before Blackpink will begin performing a live concert. One thing, I posted this on r/baseball subreddit this afternoon, but a moderator on that subreddit deleted this post for non-related or irrelevant baseball topic; so I will post this here as part of the city for upcoming events on this subreddit to see how Houston people and some Astros fans would feel about these upcoming events happening on the same day for this weekend. submitted by /u/AllenAcNguyen1 |
