The new normal of Houston drivers?

This may just be an annoying vent/psa post, but I've consistently noticed deadly driving escalating ever since the SIP. I can't tell if it's pent up aggression, anxiety, restlessness, DUI, etc. Maybe it's a response to less involved police force? It's more and more reckless speeding and lane swerving every single time I get on the freeway. Every last time. And it makes me fear for my life.
