Kroger-Albertsons deal to face U.S. Senate antitrust hearings
The deal that Cincinnati-based Kroger (NYSE: KR) and Boise, Idaho-based Albertsons (NYSE: ACI) announced Oct. 14 would combine the nation’s two largest operators of traditional supermarkets.
