Food Banks-Do the people who take food in their time of need…give back?

I remember seeing long lines of cars waiting for food during the pandemic…Do these people give back to food banks once they get back on their feet? I have no idea how food banks can sustain itself when we got so many people asking for food…Yes, you need all the help you can get during tough times, but be sure to give back once things turn around. Or else it comes off parasitic…always taking.
