Harris County Pet Resource Center (aka Harris County Pets) has over 400 dogs right now. Do some Redditors want to come out and walk dogs? We get together every Saturday 8-10:30 at the shelter. Volunteering is easy — volunteer paperwork online at CountyPets.com. Then show up on Saturday. (Don't wait for them to contact you. It's the government.) There are walking trails and play yards.
