Apartment Hunting

My boyfriend has rented near Galleria for almost two years now and we have really enjoyed that area. I will be relocating to Houston soon and we want to branch out to try a different part of the city to rent in. Any suggestions? We enjoy the heights, midtown, and the downtown area. Just having a hard time weighing the pros and cons of each to make a final decision! Thanks in advance.
