Houston-based developer to build new apartment complex after recent sale

A Houston-based developer has acquired a 20-acre parcel for a new garden-style multifamily development in The Groves master-planned community.

Martin Fein Interests Ltd. paid an undisclosed sum to acquire the 20.19-acre property from Irving, Texas-based Ashlar Development, the current developer of the 1,000-acre community. The move comes shortly after Fein sold other noteworthy Houston-area apartment complexes in recent months.
