$77 for a 50 gallon rain barrel. Sale ends Oct 9th or until sell out. You must pick up in person on Oct 22nd.
I bought this rain barrel in a similar sale last year and it's really good. It's feature rich for the price. It has a good overflow tube, ability to daisy chain, easily removable screen mesh, and seems well made. The spout being plastic is worrisome, but it has held up so far.
This rain barrel is vastly superior to this style of rain barrel that I also own. The flaw is that the overflow goes out the front which allows algae to grow.
You must pick up this rain barrel in person, no shipping. So makes sure your vehicle could hold it.
If you have an covered outdoor outlet, I recommend installing a pressure switched pump. I use this one. It's pressure switched so I attached a garden hose and a nozzle to the outlet and the pump will turn on whenever I pull the trigger on the nozzle. So I can use the spray nozzle with pressurized water as if it was city water. Filling up watering cans manually is very slow, especially if the rain barrel is low on water. Note that the pump will required a couple of adapter to convert 1/2" MNPT to 3/4" garden hose.
I don't have any experience with the composter.
