Guy threatens my life on 153 bus

I was on the 153 bus to wheeler TC when I was passing through a neighborhood I think called Harwin? Anyway, a young African American man gets on (probably 19-25) and doesn't have enough fare for the ride. The bus drive (older white woman 45-50) tells him he needs to pay the fare or he can't ride. The young guy gets pretty loud demanding to have the bus lady take him up 2 stops, which she refuses. He then turns and asks the passengers on the bus for change, and I began looking in my bag for some spare money when he suddenly starts yelling "SOMEONE GIVE ME SOME F**** CHANGE." I then just kind of looked away because he seemed too heated, but then he directed his outrage at the bus lady, demanding that she take him up 2 stops cussing at her and using racial and degrading slurs. She stands up and grabs her bag, and he finally gets off the bus. Before leaving though he slams into the glass on the window and yells "IM GOING TO KILL ALL OF YOU ON THIS BUS."

I probably wouldn't even post this if he didn't say he'd kill us all, but I just wanted to know from you all if situations like these are typical on the bus?
