Relocating to Houston. Looking for Apartment Around Uptown Area

I am relocating from Tampa to Houston for a new job. My office is located in Uptown and wanted to try my best to remain close if possible.

I am looking for a 1 bedroom with rent between $1100-$1500. I am also willing to go outwards in between Missouri City and Uptown if there are better options in those areas.

I don’t know the Houston area well, so any insights for specific apartment complexes or areas in general would be very beneficial. Thanks a lot!
