Houston Food Bank gets $1M donation from prominent philanthropists

As the Houston Food Bank works to keep up with the high demand due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Kinder Foundation is providing further relief with a $1 million donation.

The food bank has been distributing at 150% to 200% pre-pandemic levels, or 750,000 to 1 million pounds of food per day, according to a press release.
