Thousands celebrate 60th anniversary of moon speech at Rice Stadium

On Sept. 12, 1962, President John F. Kennedy spoke at Rice University Stadium and said the famous words, “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”
