4 Houston nominees make final round of James Beard Awards

The final round of the 2020 James Beard Awards will include four nominees from Houston, a marked improvement from the past couple of years.

Perennial semifinalist Anvil Bar & Refuge is a nominee in the Outstanding Bar Program category. Bobby Heugel’s well-known Montrose cocktail bar has been named a semifinalist in the category every year since 2012, and it moved on to the final round in 2018.
