PCP recommendation with shorter wait times for appts

I have had two primary care doctors at Houston Methodist but both have had minimum four week wait times to be seen as a current patient. I could understand a one or even two week wait, but it’s very frustrating to have wait for over a month to be seen. Any recommendations for PCPs out there with shorter wait times or is that the norm unless you go with one of those paid membership places (which I’d also consider at this point)? Ideally looking for inner loop. TIA.
