“Neighbor’s camera catches moment a Houston mother’s son was severely injured in a crash”
As a new motorcyclist and a native Houstonian, this is one of my biggest fears when I’m out riding.
You save your hard earned money to buy a bike to have fun with and enjoy the fruits of your labor. You buy expensive gear, take riding courses and learn lessons on the street. But nothing prepares you for s**t like this. It’s in the back of my mind every time I ride.
Looking at the video, it looks like the rider pulls out into the feeder, and since the street racers were driving at high speeds, he must’ve not seen them when he turned into the road. Few secs later, it looks like they rear end him. He was wearing a helmet only from the images in the video. This happened at the Hardy Toll road. They did not stop.
