Any good routes to Houston from dalas besides 45?

I have to drive from Dallas to Houston every week for work 2x a week. Idc taking 45N to Dallas, but I hate taking 45S. My final stop is Dallas (downtown) to sugar land. Was wondering if there are any scenic routes or back roads
