I think I made the wrong choice

I moved here from nyc at the drop of a dime, no license & no big savings. My nephew told me it only cost 150 to move in. I now make it to houston with all my stuff and I had to pay a fee of 900. That was a big portion of my money… now I have a “full time job” that is giving me 30 hours & I don’t have a car at the moment let alone a drivers license. I was recommended to stay off the bus and that it is very dangerous. Is it best to grind it out ? Or just go back to nyc with my family
