Anyone have info on the police activity yesterday (8/4) on I-10 and Eldridge around 5pm yesterday?

I was leaving my job (near i-10 and eldridge) around 5 yesterday and ran into tons of traffic. There was a crashed (I think it was a black sedan?) vehicle on on the freeway, which had a few officers surrounding it (no one was inside.) Several officers parked on the freeway near that scene. There was also a helicopter hovering around the area, but I couldn't tell if it was a police helicopter or a news one.

I drive up closer to the Terry Hershey parking lot (right before Memorial View Drive) and there are about 10 cruisers parked in the lot, most with lights flashing. One I actually reach Memorial View Drive, I see that they have one man sitting on the sidewalk, cuffed.

No news has released any info on this yet. A lot of things were happening yesterday (terrible Silber accident and then a different police chase a little further south). Anyone have any idea what was going on there?
