Are my KWH to high for this Houston weather?

I’m looking at my energy bills which have been as insane lately as everyone else’s. I’m in a 2BR 1245sq foot apartment with admittedly bad insulation but I’m using around 2,000KWH per month. This seems extraordinarily high and has progressively been getting higher each month.

The farthest back I can go in my energy history is last August in which I was in the exact same apartment and used 500KWH but I was averaging closer to 1,000KWH until the summer. Is something wrong with my meter, and if so who do I complain to?
