Petty Assed Gripe

Not sure if anyone else sees this the way I do, but it’s finally gotten to me. My daughter got me into baseball several years back. Her love of the game was infectious and to date we still try as best we can to watch at least some of every game we can together. The rest of the family feels it’s boring, so it’s something that she and I can bond over that’s special to us. She started collecting baseball cards. I love it! I did too when I was a kid. She gets really excited when she opens a pack and there’s an Astros card in there. During the post season last year I found out about Topps Now and Topps 100. Cool programs and some of the art is spectacular. The Topps now has decent representation of the ‘stros, and we’ve snagged several during the 24 hour sale windows. The problem comes in the Topps 100, and now the All Star Art Collection. If your name is not Otahni, Judge, Trout, Alanso, Machado, Tatis, or Guerrero forget about getting any sort of representation in these truly beautiful cards. The Astros are, in my opinion, the biggest market team not represented in these especially collections. I wrote a message to Topps customer service, but thought maybe some of y’all might be interested in these programs and want to fan the flames of resentment for the snub by Topps.
