Trying to find people to play music with.

Yo I’m in my mid 30s and have been playing bass regularly for about two years. I’m trying to find anyone around my age and doesn’t mind how bad I am. I keep reading about how you don’t improve as much if you aren’t playing with other musicians and all I want to do is get good. Genre doesn’t matter to me at all.

Would prefer people on the north side if possible, but I don’t mind driving pretty much anywhere.

If this isn’t the right sub or someone has a suggestion on how to find people who aren’t either 18 years old or taking themselves super seriously I would love to hear from you. Thanks
