United Airlines bans more animals from flights
United Airlines has taken another step to tighten restrictions on what kind of animals can — and cannot— be taken on board flights as pets and emotional support and service animals.
In the latest move, United is banning all birds and rabbits on board commercial flights.
The action was taken, according to a United spokesman, because of concerns that rabbits might get loose from their containers and start gnawing on parts of the plane. Plus the spokesman said the bunnies might prove hard to capture…
