Power Surge?

Are the power surges we’ve experienced the past two weeks normal? Living in the area up until a few years ago, we didn’t experience the power shutting off randomly for as little as 2 seconds.

Now back in N Houston, we’ve had power shut off and turn back on 6-8 times in the last few days. Most recent was 2:30 am this morning.
