Electricity plan expires before I move/my lease expires

Hi I was wondering what to do in the situation listed above. I know that there is a policy in htx where I can cancel my electricity for moving, so I was wondering if there was any problem with renewing my plan but cancelling a week later because my lease expires by then or any other options. I couldn't find any resources about it after searching, so your input and advice would very much be appreciated. Thank you so much.
