Landlord AC issues, what can I do?

Recently moved into an apartment complex near NASA and have been having extremely high humidity no matter what I do, ac fan is set to auto, I have 2 oscillating fans running 24/7 and I recently bought a dehumidifier that works but just adds more heat to the area. Maintenance has come look at the ac twice now and said “its blowing cold air so its fine”. My hydrometer reads about 79% humidity during the day and low 70’s at night which is way higher than what a home should have. Called the leasing office and they said there’s nothing wrong with the ac and that it sounds like I should break the contract if I’m having problems. They’re no help at all, not even caring about the problem to their property, it hasn’t even been a month since I moved in and I have no idea what to do.
