Is 550-700 a month for an apt too good too be true?

I've looked through old r/houston posts but you know they are old. I make 15/hr I haven't build credit at all, I just want to know realistically if I could get an apartment on my own. Ive seen apartments go at around 650 or 550 for a 1br apt. Are these right? or should i stop looking for apts?
