On November 1, 1998, two men were shot in an attempted robbery in the 100 block of Julia Street in Houston, Texas. Unfortunately, only one victim survived. Four suspects were later convicted of the murder. For many years, the deceased victim remained unidentified, known only by the nickname of "Chino". He has since been identified as 19-year-old Mauricio Aranda Espinosa. Investigators have not been able to locate next-of-kin.
