Houston nonprofit moves into next phase of affordable housing development

A Houston-based nonprofit focused on providing affordable housing is moving into the next phase of single-family home development in the city’s Northline area.

Avenue CDC has broken ground on phase two of its Avenue Meadows project, which will add six new homes to the 10 homes built during phase one, the nonprofit said in a news release.

Avenue Meadows is located off Meadow Lea Drive, near the intersection of Berry Road and Fulton Street, just north of Interstate 610.
