Chevron could join Talos-Carbonvert JV for Texas carbon capture project

The existing JV between Talos and Carbonvert, now called Bayou Bend CCS, was selected as the winning bidder for the Texas General Land Office’s Jefferson County carbon storage lease offshore Beaumont and Port Arthur last year.
