Driver Responsibility Program (DRP)

I’ve read that the DRP was eliminated as of September 1, 2019.

Does that mean there’s no longer a “points system”? And if someone does get a violation, would there be nothing assigned to the person other than the balance he has to pay on his ticket??

Reason I’m asking is because I recently got into a car accident (a few hours ago actually), and I just wanted to know how this would affect me. Usually I’d get 3 points since it was a violation resulting in an accident, but with no DRP, how would this affect me at all?
