Ford escape transmission problem, HELP!

Dear fellows, when I started my car, it is moving for about 2 minutes then it stops getting power to move with a strange noise. It is starting fine and there wasn’t any indication like engine lights beforehand. I made it towed to service they were keep telling me that it is transmission problem. I have no choice but to trust them. I really do not know anything about the cars. Is there any one who had similar issue? Any help would be appreciated.

My car is 2017 Ford Escape at 66k miles. It shouldn’t be usual issue for this mile.
