Selecting a power provider in 77054

Hi everyone!

I’m moving to Houston soon and have been looking at the power providers on power to choose website.

I’ll be living in a 1bed 600sqft apartment so I’m estimating my average usage to be about 600kWh. The cheapest flat rate plan I can find is for about 15c/kWh but I also came across night free plans which seem to be interesting as I’ll be outside for most of the day but their regular time charges are ~19c/kWh.

I’m finding it difficult to choose a plan and stick to it for a year given that the rates are so high!

Any suggestions on what I can do?
