Financial Planner/Budget Help

I’m looking to move out in the summer and will be renting. I spoke to a family friend that is a financial planner and he was OVERLY cautious about how I really shouldn’t move out yet (been at home with family so paying little rent) due to my salary, even though it’s a median salary, plus I have savings, plus I received a raise….I was shocked by someone simply telling me it’s not the move right now rather than helping me figure things out. Also before y’all comment, I need to be out by July so there’s no more staying home to save as long as I can. With that said, does anyone have a reasonable and trustworthy person they recommend? Really need to just talk everything out with someone before I get locked in to rent somewhere.
