Townhouse near Texas Medical Center Locations?

I am searching for townhouses in the 300s. I found some for sale located south of yellow stone Blvd, near the stuffed baked potato factory. I was wondering if that area was safe to live in and is it getting better?

There was another townhouse I looked at located to the left of Wildcat Golf Club. However, my father believes that this is a worse location compared to the one above because of a prostitution ring located in that area. Is this true? It is a gated community compared to the option above, but he thinks the value of that area will not appreciate as much as the above.
