returning a item in team store

Ok so .. I must ask so if you were to buy a cap from the minute maid team store(in person)and you noticed it's defective or it's the wrong one can you return the cap does it need have the stickers on the cap with reciept or can I just return the cap with only just the reciept and no stickers on it

I been confused all day cause there is some issues on the cap-
