Harris Health System president shares how the pandemic changed public health systems

Two years into the global pandemic, Harris Health System President and CEO Dr. Esmaeil Porsa is taking stock.

Covid-19 amplified many existing health care challenges across the community. One of the biggest, Porsa said, is the prevalence of chronic illnesses and unequal access to health care services, especially among essential workers.
