Apartment window question

I’m currently in a temp apartment and tonight I went to see my apartment. There’s two very large windows(the only two. Layout wise they make sense). One in my living room and one in my bedroom. And neither window opens.

Is this normal? If someone has this, how do you deal with no fresh air?
