Houston Victory Gardens? Community Gardens for REAL PEOPLE to grow REAL FOOD!

Hi All, Does anyone know about Victory or community gardens? Any information on where we can plant seeds for food. Skill Shares and Seed Swaps? We could grow abundant crops!

How are you getting through the increase cost in food costs? How are you preparing for food shortages and the new ominous Bird Flu?!?!

I'm asking the community these questions. Im a single mom in an apartment. My balcony allows me to grow herbs outside and I have a inside hydroponic lettuce grow kit. However, I'm curious how other people are doing it in a similar living situation?
