Where to surrender a dog?

I moved to houston less than a year ago. I recently took in a dog my buddy could no longer have as he was moving. The dog is super sweet and calm a majority of the time but has shown signs of high aggression in regards to resource guarding.

I need to surrender him but most places I have called say they have up to a two week wait list.

Any help?
