Good companies to work for (part-time) in Houston? Companies to avoid?

I’m currently a college student looking to get a part-time job for the rest of this semester + the summer to make some extra money. What are some good companies to work for? And what are some companies I should avoid? I’ve applied to Buc-ee’s, Target, Walgreens, and Costco so far.
